Maintaining your Protectomat dashmat is simple and ensures long-lasting performance and appearance. Crafted from our premium velour-style material, proper care will help maintain the appearance, fit, and long-term performance of your dashmat.

Routine Cleaning

• Vacuum Regularly: Use a soft brush attachment to remove dust and debris.
• Lint Removal: Use a lint roller to remove pet hair and fine particles.
• Detail Cleaning: Use a soft-bristled brush for vents and textured areas.

Spot Cleaning

• Spot Treat: Use a damp microfiber cloth with mild detergent.
• Blot Only: Do not scrub or soak the material.
• Rinse: Remove residue with a clean damp cloth.
• Dry Naturally: Air dry completely before refitting.

Preparation

• Clean the Dashboard: Ensure the dashboard surface is clean, dry, and free from dust, dirt, or polish before installation.

Positioning

• Align the Dashmat: Lay the dashmat in place and align all cut-outs, including vents, sensors, and speaker openings.
• Check Fitment: Ensure the mat is centred evenly and sits flush across the dashboard.

Securing the Dashmat

• Apply Fastening Tabs: Use the supplied hook-and-loop (Velcro) tabs on key areas such as corners, edges, and curved surfaces.
• Press Firmly: Once positioned, press the dashmat firmly onto the tabs to secure it in place.

Important Safety Note

• Airbag Compatibility: Ensure the dashmat is correctly positioned around any airbag panels and does not obstruct deployment zones.

Settling Period

• Allow to Conform: Minor creases may be present initially due to packaging.
• Natural Fit: Allow up to 7 days for the material to settle and conform to the dashboard.
