Many modern vehicles are fitted with passenger-side airbags, making compatibility an important consideration when choosing a dash mat.
Protectomat dash mats are designed with vehicle-specific fitment in mind and include airbag-compatible features where required. Where a dashboard is fitted with a passenger-side airbag, the dash mat is designed with an airbag flap that allows for proper deployment.
During installation, it is important to ensure the airbag flap remains unobstructed. Adhesive tabs should not be placed on the airbag flap, and the dash mat should be fitted in accordance with the supplied fitting instructions.
